QUESTIONS

HOW MUCH DOES THE

BAND COST?

 

 

Because of the wide range of circumstances that have to be taken into account when booking the band for your event (travel distances, possible accommodation requirements, feeding the band etc…) we do not have a fixed price. However, prices do start from as little as £950. Please use the form on the ‘contact’ page so we can give you an accurate quote.

DO YOU PROVIDE A DJ SERVICE?

 

Yes. We will play recorded music through our PA system via Spotify for you and your guests to enjoy, in-between and after our live sets. Our DJ service is free as part of your booking. Prior to your event, you will be invited to make song selections for the DJ playlist, to ensure your favourite tracks are included. We can make a whole playlist for you or you can make one entirely yourself, or a combination! the choice is yours.

HOW LONG DOES SET UP TAKE?

Once we have been given access to the room/area where we will be playing, it usually takes us 1 hour to set up. This will include a quick soundcheck to make sure the PA system is setup correctly for the space in which we will be playing. 

WHAT KIND OF POWER SUPPLY IS NEEDED?

Your venue will need to supply 4 x 13 amp plug sockets in order for us to  power our equipment. If the venue is outside, for example in a marquee, there must be surge protection in place, same goes if the power is being provided by a generator. Please ask us for specifics if you are unsure. 

DO YOU PROVIDE LIGHTING

& PA EQUIPMENT?

Yes, we supply a high spec sound system which is more than powerful enough for any wedding or party venue. We also provide industry standard stage and and dance floor lighting, to make sure your party looks the part.

DOES YOUR EQUIPMENT HAVE

PAT CERTIFICATES?

 

Yes, we can email the certificates to your venue in advance of your event, along with our insurance cover details.

WILL NOISE LIMITERS BE AN ISSUE?

 

 

 

We have learnt to adapt to play at venues with noise limiters in place. Simply let us know in advance if your chosen venue has noise limiters, and we will make the necessary 

adjustments.

HOW LONG DO YOU PLAY FOR?

 

 

 

We will play 2 hours worth of live music for your event.

This can be split up throughout the evening however you like! e.g. 2 x 1hrs,  45 mins & 1hour 15 mins etc...

CAN I PICK THE LIVE SET LIST?

The live set list for your event will be made up of a mix of songs from within our repertoire list. We invariably choose the live set list on the actual evening as we play, adjusting to the crowd in front of us. This allows us  to use our experience and expertise to keep your dance floor filled.

However, prior to your event you will be invited to request some of your favourite songs from our current repertoire list. The band will then aim to include your top picks in the live set. And of course if there are any songs that you don’t want included, they will be vetoed! 

WILL YOU LEARN LIVE SONGS OUTSIDE OF YOUR REPERTOIRE?

The band already has a great repertoire at their disposal. But if you would like us to play a specific song live that falls outside of our current repertoire, we can do this for an additional charge due to the extra time required to learn and practice the piece.

Please note that this option will be subject to the suitability of the song for the band line up to replicate.

WHAT ARE THE FLEXIBLE PAYMENT OPTIONS?

Available  options include:

  1. Standard - 50% of the balance is payable as a deposit at the time of booking. The final balance is due 30 days before the event date.

  2. Full Payment - Pay the balance in full at the time of booking
